About Us
LIVE IN ADVENTURE.
Gals Gone Wild is a womxn's outdoor collective at the University of California, San Diego– bringing female-identifying and nonbinary people together outside since 2022. We strongly believe in making the outdoors accessible through our engagement. Today, we are breaking barriers within the outdoor recreation sphere by providing free gear and logistics for our members on camping trips, hikes, climbs and surf sessions. We strive to think outside of the traditional recreation box by facilitating collaborations with other organizations on campus and by incorporating outdoor education, climate change awareness and philanthropy into our events.
Our goal is for our members to return home from the school year
having been new places,
having challenged their bodies to move in new ways,
having made new friends,
and with a newfound confidence in recreation
and an appreciation for the outdoor connection
that takes place in our lives and in our own backyards every day.

Meet the Board.
Our board works tirelessly year-round to organize and lead events– everything from our weekly yoga sessions to multi-day camping trips at our local National and State Parks. Their dedication to fostering partnerships with organizations and engaging with the GGW community truly keeps this club up and running.
